AS 4011-1992

Specifies requirements for form-fitting, single-use (sterile and non-sterile) gloves that fit either hand, paired gloves and gloves by size used in conducting medical and dental examinations, in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and in the handling of biologically contaminated medical materials. Definitions, materials, construction, physical and sterility requirements, packaging and marking requirements are laid down. The Standard does not apply to surgeon's gloves which are used for operating procedures.
