Specifies a method for testing the breaking strength of monofilament nylon fishing line with the objective of providing fishing associations, testing bodies and competition fishermen with a uniform method of test and therefore comparison of results. The Standard is based on but not equivalent to, and reproduced from ISO 1805:1973.
