Sets out the requirements for the installation and maintenance in buildings of stationary batteries having a stored capacity exceeding 1 kW.h, o r a floating voltage of 115 V but not exceeding 650 V. Applies to both b attery rooms and battery cabinets. Safety requirements are included part icularly in relation to the ventilation requirements to ensure an explos ive atmosphere does not arise. Commissioning, inspection and maintenance of stationary batteries are also covered.
