Provides requirements for the design and construction of natural gas vehicle (NGV) fuel systems using compressed natural gas for motor vehicle engines. It applies to the propulsion engine of a vehicle, or to an auxiliary engine that may be mounted on it. It may be adapted for installation of stationary engines, but is not primarily written for such applications. It does not apply to usage other than to fuel engines, e.g. to supply appliances in caravans.
